You Must Agree To The Below Training Agreement To Attend Our Workshops
Training
Dog training should be fun! We need you to come prepared, optimistic and ready to see changes in both you and your dog's behaviour and relationship. You will need to bring:
- Flat collar and lead
- Longline
- Food/Treats
- Toys
- Bed/Mat
Vaccinations
All students will need to show their dog's current vaccination record or proof of vaccination from their veterinarian to a staff member prior to their dog entering the facility. Please bring your vaccination record to the workshop, or scan and email a copy prior directly to laura@constructivecanines.co.nz
Responsibility During Training
While all due care is taken to ensure both you and your dog have a completely safe and enjoyable time training with Constructive Canines, bringing your dog to a class or workshop and interacting with other dogs and people is not without risk. The behaviour and welfare of your dog while in the training environment is ultimately your responsibility. You agree that you will not hold Constructive Canines Limited liable for any incident involving yourself or your dog.
Payments
Full payment must be received to secure your place in the workshop. Online payment is recommended. We are always happy to discuss options or payment plans to ensure our workshops are available to all.
Cancellations
Late or unexplained withdrawals made less than 48 hours of a workshop may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the full class cost, this is at the complete discretion of Constructive Canines Limited. If you change your mind, are unable to attend, or wish to transfer to another workshop please contact Constructive Canines as early as possible to avoid the need to invoke this policy. Withdrawals for any reason within 24 hours of the workshop starting are non-refundable.

This 2 hour workshop is designed to help you get the focus you want and need when you're out with your dog and you will learn how to become the centre of your dog's attention by playing games specifically designed to keep their focus on you.
That's right, we will teach you games to play with your dog and while having fun they will be learning just how great it is to pay attention to you.

Puppy Power!
Have you got a puppy under 8 months? Have you missed puppy class or maybe just want to learn more?
Do you want to have fun learning ways to train your puppy through games?
This is the workshop for you!
This 2 hour workshop is designed for puppies under the age of 8 months. We will be focusing on setting you and your puppy with training skills to create a great relationship for life. All through playing lots of fun games!
There will be lots and lots of fun learning by playing games! You and your puppy will have a great time and go home with some fantastic new skills.

Racing Recalls
Can't let your dog off leash? Worried your dog will disappear given any opportunity?

This is the workshop for you!
We all want a dog that reliably comes back to us when asked. In this 2 hour workshop we will teach you and your dog lots of fantastic games to play to help you gain that reliable recall you want.
Our game based approach will have your dog wanting to come back to you, not through bribery and not because of fear of what will happen if they don't, but because it is FUN!

Trick Novice
Have you got a super smart pup that loves to learn? Do they love doing tricks?
Do you want to challenge your dog and you, whilst earning a trick title?
This is the workshop for you!
The amazing Caz from Pawz Perfect Dog Training is a Certified Trick Dog Trainer and has created this workshop to encourage you to gain your Novice Trick Dog Title for your dog. (Or you can just come for fun with your dog!)
Learn some new tricks, plus show off what you already know. From sit and shake to barrel racing and jumping a bar, its going to be three hours packed with fun and learning!

Walking Wowzas
Does your dog pull on the lead? Does it feel like your arm is being pulled out of its socket

In this 2 hour workshop we will teach you and your dog lots of fantastic games to play to help you gain a dog that wants to be close to you, so chooses to walk with you.
Our game based approach will have your dog enjoying walking next to you. Making exercising your dog fun, rather than a chore.
